Kenti Accessibility Statement
We want Kenti to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Scope
This statement covers the Kenti app for Android and iOS, and this website (kenti.lanpage.co).
Conformance status
Kenti is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, applied to mobile apps. This is a self-assessment: the app hasn't been audited by an independent third party.
What we've done:
- Icon-only buttons have labels for screen readers (TalkBack and VoiceOver).
- The processing status is announced to screen readers while replies are generated.
- Copying a reply gives haptic feedback in addition to the visual confirmation.
- The app uses the system text-size and language settings.
Known limitations
- We haven't yet tested the full app with TalkBack and VoiceOver on physical devices, so some screens may be hard to navigate with a screen reader.
- Kenti's main input is a screenshot of a conversation. People who can't take or select a screenshot can paste the conversation as text instead.
- Replies are generated by AI and may occasionally be long or complex.
Alternatives
- Every feature that uses a screenshot also accepts pasted text.
- If something in the app isn't accessible to you, email aleindiedev@gmail.com and we'll help you directly.
